Canaryball Rally | Norwich City Community Sports Foundation

1st-5th October 2024
Tuesday to Saturday

Canaryball Rally is back for its third year, and we are looking for teams to join us on an epic European driving challenge this October.

Explore Europe’s most scenic landscapes on this once-in-a-lifetime journey which covers 2300 miles across five countries, including Austria and Belgium.  If you’re a car enthusiast and fancy making everlasting memories, then this challenge is for you.

To secure your team’s car you will need to pay a £250 deposit. As a team you will then be required to raise a minimum of £2,500 and cover costs per person of approx. £500.*

*Additional costs will include but not limited to fuel, euro tunnel and food.

The proposed route is circa 2,300 miles around Europe. The route will start and finish at The Nest and will travel through France, Italy, Austria, Germany, and Belgium.

  • Day 1: The Nest, UK > Troyes, France (476 miles)

Taking in the Champagne Route.

  • Day 2: Troyes, France > Monaco (538 miles)

Taking in the French Riviera Scenic Route.

  • Day 3: Monaco > Solda, Italy (358 miles)

Taking in Genoa, Milan, The Italian Lakes and The Stelvio Pass!

  • Day 4: Solda > Western Germany (496 miles)

Taking in Lake Constance and The Black Forest Route.

  • Day 5: Western Germany > The Nest, UK (507 miles)

Taking in Spa, Brussels and The Belgian and French Coast.

Please note: This is the recommended route. Hotels on each day will be based on this route, however if there is somewhere specific you would like to visit, this will be at your discretion.

There is no entry fee as this is a self-funded event. However, a £250 non-refundable deposit per team is required on booking to secure your place. This will then be deducted from your accommodation costs. Other costs will include (but are not limited to) fuel, Euro tunnel, and food.

As a team, you will be required to raise a minimum of £2,500.

If there is a specific number you would like, then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

A great way of securing sponsorship for the rally is to reach out to companies that would be prepared to donate in return for their logo on your car. For an additional fee, Signs Express can help you out. Please let us know if you would like to be in put in touch.

There will be plenty of opportunities to get together between now and the rally in October.

You can look forward to things like information evenings, a quiz, and a media day, plus an opportunity to meet some of the individuals your money raised will be helping.
