Raising aspirations, attainment and attendance using the power of the Premier League

Developed by the Community Sports Foundation in partnership with the Premier League, the Inspires programme is a unique multi week programme aimed at raising aspirations, attainment and attendance in school.

The first 10 weeks of the programme will see pupils explore personal development and career pathways. They’ll cover various skills such as communication, teamwork and organisation, before looking at different careers in relation to Norwich City Football Club’s departments – marketing, communications, finance and more.

The second two-week section of the programme is all about social action! Working in their groups and using the skills they’ve learned in the first part of the course, students will design their very own social action project, all themed around making a positive difference within their school.

An optional celebration day and ground tour at Carrow Road, the home of Norwich City Football Club, is available to finish the programme.

Using the power of the Premier League and Norwich City Football Club, Premier League Inspires aims to develop skills and knowledge, whilst improving confidence, self-esteem and mental wellbeing.

Aimed at KS3 students (Year 8 & 9), the free programme is delivered by the Foundation’s Premier League Inspires Officer during curriculum and enrichment hours.

We can also build a programme adapted to your curriculum and learning objectives.
