Raising aspirations, attainment and attendance using the power of the Premier League
Developed by the Community Sports Foundation in partnership with the Premier League, the Inspires programme is a unique 24-week programme aimed at raising aspirations, attainment and attendance in school.
The first 12 weeks of the programme will see pupils to develop their personal enterprise skills with a unique challenge: produce a product for Norwich City Football Club to sell.
The second 12 weeks is linked to the groundbreaking Sky Ocean Rescue initiative. Pupils will plan, organise and execute their own social action project linked to an environmental issue. For example, they could choose to run a ‘plastic-free’ day at school, or clean up a lake, river or beach.
Using the power of Norwich City Football Club and the Premier League, PL Inspires aims to develop skills and knowledge, whilst improving confidence, self-esteem and mental wellbeing.
Aimed at KS3 students, the free programme is delivered in-school hours by the Foundation’s PL Inspires Officer.
