A slow-paced version of the beautiful game we all love to play and watch

Walking football is a slower-paced version of the beautiful game we all love to play and watch.

Our weekly sessions take place on The Nest’s brand new 3G pitch in Norwich and are a great way to keep fit, learn skills and socialise all at the same time.

Led by our qualified coaches, our sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities. New players are always welcome and the first session you attend is free – click here to register for your free taster session.

We offer players who wish to take the sport to a more competitive level with the opportunity to represent Norwich City at national competitions across the country (invite only).

We also run two variations of Walking Football at The Nest: Parkinson’s Walking Football for adults with Parkinson’s or other neurological diseases, and Team Talk with a focus on improving mental wellbeing.

We’re hosting a FREE taster event for over‑40s, giving new participants the chance to experience a session and get a feel for walking football before signing up. It’s a relaxed, friendly introduction designed to help you see what the sessions are all about and decide if it’s right for you.

  • Sunday 27th September (9am-10am)
  • The Nest, Norwich

Participants can then look to join our weekly session on Wednesday evenings from 8pm–9:30pm at The Nest.
