Week long course aimed at aspiring 12-16-year old sports coaches
It’s never too early to consider a career in sports coaching. That’s why the Foundation will be running a new course for young aspiring coaches this summer, as part of our Coaches Club.
Aimed at 12-16-year olds and led by our experienced Coach Development team, the week long ‘Young Leaders Camp’ course will take place at The Nest on August 16th-20th and has been developed to give young people their first insight into coaching.

The camp will be a mix of practical and theory workshops aimed to develop coaching knowledge, based on the Foundation’s delivery philosophy and coaching fundamentals.
There will also be personal development sessions, opportunities to plan and deliver practical coaching sessions to Foundation participants (including planning a Euro 2020-style tournament!), and guest speakers.
All participants will receive a course gift and there will be a graduation ceremony on the final day with awards for high performers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to volunteer within our programmes following the camp, to put into practice the skills they learnt, and develop interpersonal skills like confidence, communication, resilience and leadership skills.
The cost for the five-day camp is £75.00 per person, and places are limited.
