Del Sullivan: 10 marathons in 10 days

In April, ex-soldier Del Sullivan finished his mammoth fundraiser, walking ten marathons in ten days whilst raising money for both the Community Sports Foundation and veteran support charity, the On Course Foundation.

Del’s challenge saw him walk two laps of Norwich ring road each day, in what was designed to be both a physically and mentally challenging fundraiser.

Wanting to give something back to the charities who supported him during the toughest time of his life, Del decided to push himself to the limit, walking for over eight hours every day of the fundraiser.

Del’s fundraising journey concluded on Saturday 27th April, as he walked out to a packed out Carrow Road prior to the first team’s fixture against Swansea City.

The army veteran was greeted with a standing ovation – Del’s fundraising efforts raised over £3,600 for his chosen charities.
