Easter fun for youngsters across Norfolk

School’s out and Easter is now just around the corner; here is a snapshot of what’s going on at the Community Sports Foundation (CSF) over the holidays.

National Citizen Service

The school break will kick off with a celebration at Carrow Road (April 3rd) which will showcase the achievements of over forty National Citizen Service (NCS) participants.

The teenagers completed the programme – which helps young people improve team skills, develop self-confidence and learn about their community – earlier this year.

Soccer Schools

Soccer Schools will take place across the county throughout the two week Easter break and provide safe, holiday fun at an affordable price.

Late places are still available at certain venues, click here to book.

Boys’ and Girls’ Programme

Participants on our Girls’ and Boys’ Programmes are heading off on tour for a fun-filled weekend of team-building activities and fixtures. The boys are visiting Staffordshire while the girls are taking a trip to Manchester.

Back in Norwich, the Girls’ Player Development Centre (PDC) and Elite PDC will attend a Development Day at the Football Development Centre. Here, the teenagers will have the opportunity to advance their football skills, work with different coaches and take part in a series of internal fixtures.

Elsewhere, the U9-U12 Boys’ Elite PDC will welcome teams from MK Dons at Easton and Otley College. The older age groups will also compete in a series of away fixtures against the likes of Wycombe Wanderers, Rushden & Diamonds, and Reading.

Health

Our four-day Fit4it Junior Camp will take place at Eaton Vale Activity Centre over Easter, with over seventy 10-16 year olds attending a variety of health workshops and sporting activities.

The youngsters will have the opportunity to learn about healthy eating and well-being, build on their confidence, and make new friends.

Disability

Disability multisports sessions take place at Northgate High School, Dereham (April 3rd), Lynn Grove High School (April 4th) and Open Academy (April 6th).

CSF disability participants will enjoy various sporting activities including badminton, handball and football.

To book onto Soccer Schools or disability multisports sessions, visit our online booking facility or call 01603 761122.
