Thirty young people from the Foundation’s Inclusion programmes came together last week for an exciting Easter Takeover, with participants from Premier League Kicks, Realising Potential, Onside and Tackle Learning enjoying an event to remember.
The group brought a wide mix of experiences and backgrounds, including young people with disabilities and SEND, those accessing alternative school provision, and others involved in behaviour support programmes or free community football sessions.
The group spent time at Carrow Park with football activities led by Foundation coaches, before heading across to Carrow Road for a stadium tour. The day took an exciting turn when Norwich City players Dan Grimshaw and Matěj Jurásek made a surprise appearance.
They joined the tour to meet the participants, sign certificates, pose for photos and answer questions about life as professional footballers. The visit rounded off a brilliant day that celebrated confidence building and connection across the Foundation’s Inclusion programmes.
