The Nest will open its doors to prospective coaches on Wednesday 8 July, inviting qualified individuals with a passion for sport, youth development, and community engagement to attend an evening of dedicated Community Sports Foundation coaches’ recruitment.
Running from 18:00 to 20:00, the evening is designed to give attendees a clear insight into coaching opportunities across the Foundation’s programmes, including both Boys’ and Girls’ Player Development Centres, as well as our specialist Goalkeeper pathways.
The Foundation is seeking enthusiastic, committed coaches from a range of backgrounds — from experienced practitioners to those simply looking to boost their pre-existing coaching skillsets.
This event is targeted at our FOOTBALL coaches group – please see below to find out more about our coaching groups.
18:00–18:15 — Arrival & Refreshments Guests will be welcomed into The Nest’s Inspire space for registration, with Foundation staff on hand to greet attendees.
18:15–19:15 — Advanced Development Centre/Development Centre Session Observation
The Football Department will deliver three live coaching sessions on the main stadium pitch:
Boys’ Advanced Development Centre (ADC)
Girls’ Development Centre (DC)
Designated viewing areas will allow attendees to observe delivery styles, session design, and player engagement up close — offering a real-world look at the coaching environment they could soon be part of.
19:15–19:30 A presentation led by Football Department will introduce the Foundation’s coaching philosophy, programme structure, and development pathways. Refreshments will also be available.
19:30—20:00 Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in informal interviews and network with staff across the organisation.
