On Sunday morning, over 100 local coaches attended the first session of our new interactive coaching series, FC Live.
The series, hosted by the Foundation at The Nest, and free to all attendees, aims to inspire local grassroot coaches through a ‘live’ workshop.
CSF chief executive Ian Thornton kicked off proceedings with an introduction into the history and purpose of the Foundation and its impact in the community, before Canaries sporting director Stuart Webber gave the guests a revealing insight into the current coaching philosophy at Norwich City Football Club.
The guests then enjoyed a series of live coaching demos led by Head of Academy Goalkeeping Tom Weal and CSF & Academy coach Mark Vaudin (both former CSF participants themselves), before a final Q&A with Webber.

Foundation Head of Curriculum Stevie Bramble said: “FC Live is all about sharing the current topics in football for the benefit of local coaches and their players.
“To have Stuart Webber headline the first ever event – the Norwich City Way – has certainly set the standard going forwards. He offered terrific insight, and helped create the unique learning environment we hoped for when we created this series.”
The event was sponsored by Ben Burgess in partnership with Norfolk Community Leaning Services.
Cracking morning @TheNestCSF listening to Stuart Webber speaking about his journey & footballing philosophies. Followed by a very impressive training session putting theory into practice. A huge thank you to @NorwichCityCSF for the opportunity for us coaches! 💛💚@The_Yachtsmen pic.twitter.com/Nayefnh4DR
