More than 600 players took part in a brilliant two‑day Girls Canary Cup at The Nest on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 April, with teams travelling from across the country for the biggest edition of the tournament to date.
Supported by MH Goals, the event welcomed a strong line‑up with the likes of Birmingham City, Brentford, Cambridge United, Colchester United, Exeter City and Lincoln City competing across four age groups.
After two days of fast‑paced fixtures and knockout drama, Arsenal were crowned U10 champions, Peterborough United lifted the U12 trophy and Nottingham Forest topped the U14s. Our U16 Girls ADP also secured victory on home turf, sealing the final with a last‑minute winner in extra time against Brighton.
Players enjoyed a special moment when Norwich City Women players Millie Daviss and Sienna Booty visited The Nest, meeting teams, posing for photos and offering encouragement to the young players.
With hundreds of families in attendance and a fantastic atmosphere across both days, this year’s Girls Canary Cup proved another standout success at The Nest.
