Story added: 8th April 2025
On Sunday 6th April, over 20,000 people took to the streets of London for the 2025 London Landmarks Half-Marathon, including 12 fantastic Foundation runners.
2025 marks the first year that the Foundation have been an official charity partner of this nationally recognised race. A new challenge and once that our epic fundraisers embrace whole-heartedly! As of Tuesday 8th April, their outstanding efforts have raised north of £12,000.
The day itself dawned clear and sunny, with pristine blue skies framing the iconic landmarks situated across the thirteen-mile course. Beginning in Downing Street, the route took the thousands of sure-footed runners through both the City of London and Westminster, before finishing near Trafalgar Square, under the shadow of Nelson’s Column.
London Landmarks Half-Marathon prides itself as an event with strong charity engagement, with 2025’s race welcoming 680 charity partners, including our very own Community Sports Foundation. Since the races inception in 2018, London Landmarks Half-Marathon has raised upwards of £50 million for the charity sector.
This year’s race was the biggest edition of the event to date, with the 20,000 participants, 680 charity partners and and hundreds of volunteers coming together to raise a mind-blowing £16 million pounds for charity – a number that is still growing. As a relatively new event, the London Landmarks half-marathon is gradually growing its profile each year, with 2025 welcoming a whole host of international runners to the English capital, as news of the events popularity spreads worldwide.
For the Foundation to be a charity partner of such event was a great honour – and one we hope to continue in the future. To the twelve people who took to the streets of London in our name – thank you! The £12,000 you’ve fundraised for us will go a long way in helping us better our local community, and inspiring the disabled and disadvantaged across Norfolk.
