Story added: 12th September 2022
On Thursday 8th of September the Foundation celebrated Thanking Day – a time to pause and take a moment to sincerely thank our partners, volunteers, and fundraisers for all of their efforts each year.
Foundation staff and trustees took to their phones, laptops, and wrote thank-you cards to send messages of gratitude to the individuals and partner companies who use their time and money to support the Foundation and the incredible people we work with.
Senior Events and Fundraising Manager, Emma Fletcher-Dungay also used to the time to hand-deliver a selection of cakes and brownies to club kitmen, On the Stall City, the Fans Social Club and Norfolk Community Foundation in acknowledgement of them often going the extra mile.
Following the day of thanking, we then welcomed a number of partners to The Nest to allow them to see some of our work in action, with football and disability dance sessions going on throughout the evening.
Partners were then treated to a selection of freshly baked pizzas, courtesy of Bertie’s Wood Fired Pizza and an assortment of refreshments supplied by The Nest.
Thank you to Lovell Homes for sponsoring Thanking Day and our beautiful, bright green threads for the day!
Another thank you goes to all of the partners who joined us for the evening at The Nest.
