The Community Sports Foundation welcomed teams from the Chelsea FC Foundation to Easton & Otley College on Saturday to take on selected players from our Norwich City Elite Player Development Centre(EPDC).

Friends and family braved the wet weather to watch a series of competitive games across the U9 – U12 age groups.

CSF coaches were very impressed with the solid performances and dedication shown by the EPDC. The boys’ skills and commitment contributed to what Football Development Co-ordinator (U10-U13), Jordan Southgate, described as a great team effort.

He said afterwards:

“Saturday was a brilliant experience for the EPDC boys. The players demonstrated immense creativity on the pitch which led to some excellent games for both parents and coaches to enjoy.

“A huge thank you to Chelsea FC for traveling to Easton, we look forward to more fixtures in the future.”

The EPDC play representative fixtures throughout the year against various professional clubs.

To date, the fixture programme has included matches against the likes of Arsenal, Swansea City and Watford. The next set of fixtures will be against York City.
