Starting Mar 28, the week is a chance to celebrate some of the individuals & groups who benefit from our work

Next week sees the return of Community Week, an annual celebration of the fantastic work of the Club’s charity partner, the Community Sports Foundation (CSF).

The week is a chance to raise awareness of the thousands of individuals and groups who benefit from the Foundation’s community initiatives and programmes every year.

Community Week starts on March 28 and will culminate with a host of activities at the Newcastle United home fixture on the Saturday (April 2).

These include the chance for fans to watch the Norwich City Down’s Syndrome team take on their counterparts from the Newcastle United Foundation at the Family FanZone prior to kick-off (Carrow Park, KO 1pm).

The Norwich City DS team will then form a guard of honour to welcome out the first-team, before showcasing their skills to the crowd in a small-sided match at half-time.

City’s first-team will be showing their support for the week by warming up in special CSF t-shirts and donating signed items for an auction.

As always, main Club sponsor Aviva will be supporting the week by providing volunteers for a ground collection for the charity which will take place prior the game.

Stay up-to-date with Community Week by following us on Twitter or by liking our Facebook page.
