The Community Sports Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with Amcor, a global leader in packaging solutions for consumer and healthcare products. Known professionally for their industry-leading innovation, technical expertise and global scale, Amcor is committed to making a positive impact in the communities in which they are located.
It is with this impact in mind that the company will be joining the Foundation as a key partner for Duncan’s Club, a Foundation programme that supports those living with dementia and their carers. The partnership will help the continued growth and sustainability of this vital service, which plays an ever increasingly important role for families across the region.
Launched in 2022, Duncan’s Club celebrated its third anniversary in 2025 and continues to grow year on year. The programme provides welcoming, activity-based sessions designed to support cognitive stimulation, improve wellbeing and build connection for both individuals with dementia and their carers. Demand for the programme continues to rise, highlighting the need for accessible, community-based support.
Reflecting on the new partnership, Lindsay Michiels, Relationships Manager at the Foundation said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Amcor as a partner for Duncan’s Club. Their support will help us to continue to support people living with dementia and provide meaningful, positive experiences for both participants and their carers. With demand increasing every year, this partnership will have a real and lasting impact within our community.”
Speaking about the new partnership Mickey Holmes, Plant Director at Amcor added:
“Partnering with the Foundation allows us to give back to the community and is especially poignant as many employees will know of someone who has been affected directly or indirectly with dementia.”
The Foundation looks forward to developing this new relationship with Amcor and build on the ever-growing success of Duncan’s Club.
