Norwich City Fans Social Club Raises an Incredible £14,500 for Community Sports Foundation
The Community Sports Foundation is proud to thank and celebrate the incredible efforts of the Norwich City Fans Social Club, who have raised a staggering £14,500 this season in support of our work.
Through a packed calendar of fundraising events — including a Family Fun Day at The Nest, an engaging Fans’ Forum, a Mental Health Awareness evening, and a popular quiz night to name but a few — the Fans Social Club has once again demonstrated the power of community spirit and generosity.
The season of fundraising was brought to a fitting close last night at a special social evening held at the Lion and Castle. The final total was announced to a room full of dedicated supporters, joined by Norwich City FC players Jack Stacey and Onel Hernandez. The evening also offered fans the chance to bid an emotional farewell to Onel, who will be departing the Club at the end of the season.
Emma Fletcher-Dungay, Head of Fundraising at the Foundation said:
“We are incredibly grateful to the Norwich City Fans Social Club for their unwavering support and tireless effort. Their hard work behind the scenes and the enthusiasm of the fans who attend and support these events play a huge part in helping us reach more people in our community through sport.”
The funds raised will go directly towards the Foundation’s programmes, which use the power of sport to support disadvantaged and disabled people across Norfolk.
From all of us at the Foundation — thank you to everyone involved in making this season’s events such a success.
