City's Business & Project Director drops in at Carrow Park

Norwich City FC’s Business & Project Director Zoe Ward paid a visit to Extra Time on Wednesday morning to talk about the Canaries’ promotion to the Premier League and her role at the club, and answer questions from the group.

Zoe is one of the three members of the club’s Executive Committee, alongside Stuart Webber (Sporting Director) and Ben Kensell (Chief Operating Officer), and has recently been appointed as a trustee of the Community Sports Foundation.

Speaking to the group about promotion Zoe said:

“It was an incredible night and something that we’ll remember for a very long time.

“We’re still really busy with all of the end-of-season activities such as the various dinners this week, the civic reception and parade, and the Wes Russ game on Monday, but when it’s all over we can allow ourselves a short period of reflection before looking ahead to the new season.”

On her role at the club:

“One of the areas that we’ve really focussed on is driving the club’s working culture and behaviours so that we have a great place for people to work, but also that every member of staff at Carrow Road and Colney understands how they can each have an impact in helping us achieve our vision of being an established Premier League club.”

The Extra Time programme, which recently celebrated it’s 10th anniversary, allows participants to explore a wide range of different sports such as football, badminton and netball, together with the opportunity to discuss key topics within the social sessions alongside special guest speakers, such as Zoe, Ben Kensell and recently Simon Lappin.
