The success of the Lionesses at Euro 2022 is sure to inspire a nation of young girls to try football for the first time.
For over 25 years, the Community Sports Foundation has provided opportunities for girls to try football and progress as players and people, and we would love to see even more take up the sport with us.
If you’re new to the game and want to try football in a fun, safe environment, below are a few ways for you to try it with us.
We’ve also just unveiled our new Girl’s and Women’s strategy that outlines all of the ways that girls can progress within our programmes.
Our Soccer Schools are for children aged 5-11 to try a fun-filled footballing experience in the school holidays every year.

Soccer SchoolsOur Soccer Skill Centres are weekly coaching sessions for children aged 5-11, who love to, or would like to play football regularly. Children may play for a club or at school or may have never played before.

We’ll be running taster sessions and festivals in the coming months for girls of all ages, so please register your interest here so that we can let you know all about them.
When the Lionesses came to Carrow Road in February, close to 100 girls enjoyed a taster session at The Nest on the same day, with members of Norwich City Women’s first team.

More than 600 players took part in a brilliant two‑day Girls Canary Cup at The Nest on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 April, with teams travelling from across the country for the biggest edition of the tournament to date.
