Kellen Fisher & Jacon Wright surprise Colman Schools pupils with end‑of‑year visit

Norwich City players Kellen Fisher and Jacob Wright brought an unforgettable finish to the school year as they visited Colman Infant and Junior Schools for a special appearance with the Community Sports Foundation.

The visit was a great surprise for Colman, who worked with the Foundation throughout last year as part of its Schools Sports Provision, receiving high-quality PE lessons and after-school clubs that enriched physical activity across the school community.

Across Reception to Year 6, more than 300 pupils met Fisher and Wright for photos and autographs. They also took part in lively Q&A sessions, answering questions about their football journeys, ambition, resilience, and what it takes to become a professional footballer.

It was a genuine surprise for the children and a brilliant way to round off the final week of term.

Head of Schools, Asa Saunders, said the appearance captured exactly what the Foundation aims to deliver for young people:

“It was fantastic to see Kellen and Jacob engaging so naturally with the pupils – moments like these stay with children for a long time.

“We’ve enjoyed working closely with countless schools this year, including several player appearances, and we look forward to building on that engagement in the new academic year.

“The Foundation will continue to provide amazing opportunities across 2026/27 for schools to support their PE and School Sport offer during and beyond curriculum time.”
