Harry Darling and Emiliano Marcondes spent an afternoon in the Carrow Road press room, meeting 50 of our Football & Education students and sharing an open, honest conversation about ambition.
Their visit was part of our Next Gen programme, which gives students the chance to learn from real environments and real people. The programme helps young people build the confidence, decision‑making skills and self‑awareness they need to make positive choices now and in the future.
Darling and Marcondes spoke directly about ambition and resilience, reflecting on setbacks, pressure, confidence and the routines that keep them grounded. Students asked thoughtful questions for over an hour before rounding off the session with photos.
Our Football & Education programme allows students to combine a full football training and fixture schedule with the Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in Sport. Applications are now open for current Year 11 students for a September 2026 start – click here to find your course.
