Norwich City Women head coach Andy Cook paid a visit to the Foundation’s Extra Time programme this week, joining participants for an engaging social session at Carrow Park.
Extra Time supports men and women aged 55 plus with weekly physical and social activities – bringing people together to connect, improve wellbeing and meet special guests. The likes of Simon Lappin, Darren Huckerby and Neil Adams have all visited the programme since its launch in 2008.
During the session, Andy spoke openly about the season so far, reflecting on the team’s progress in FA Women’s National League Division One South East. He also shared stories from his journey in football, from his early coaching experiences to his move to Norfolk and his ambitions for the women’s game.
Participants asked a range of questions as Andy’s visit created a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere, before wishing the Norwich City Women’s boss well for the rest of the season.
