Norwich City fans are celebrating promotion back to the Premier League and the Community Sports Foundation has extra reason to celebrate, after two fan groups announced their fundraising totals for the season.
Norwich City Fans’ Social Club tweeted on Friday night to reveal that despite the pandemic, they had raised an impressive £6,500 for the Foundation this season.
In addition the Foundation would like once again to thank the Pink Un Pickers group, who have raised £3,141 including a £200 donation from Turners European Consulting LTD.
What an amazing total, @NorwichCityFSC! 💛💚
We are incredibly grateful for all your efforts. 🙏 https://t.co/z9r1JAYm84

The NCFSC total has been reached from virtual events such as two player forums, an evening with Simon Thomas, and online auctions, as well as their regular super sixes competition.
Diane Blazier from the NCFSC said:
“When I first set up the Norwich City Fans’ Social Club the main aim was to bring fans together.
“The Community Sports Foundation was already established as a charity associated with our club so it seemed a wonderful opportunity to achieve the goal of bringing people together, whilst supporting the amazing work the CSF do with disadvantaged and disabled young adults and children through sport.
“It has proven a fantastic fit and I’m confident that our bond will continue forever.”
The Foundation’s Senior Fundraising and Events Manager Emma Fletcher thanked the NCFSC on Twitter.
We simply have the most amazing fans, I am so proud to be part of the team and I am very lucky to work for an amazing charity which benefits from their support 💚💛 https://t.co/44aWcWrTkU

The NCFSC and Foundation are also grateful to Fosters Solicitors for their support of the group.
Eddie Edwards, a member of the Pink Un Pickers said:
“A football forum made up of fans with very different views can be a contentious and combative place. The Pink Un is no different except for an oasis called Rays Funds where us PUPs support each other and stand together having fun whilst raising money for the CSF and Norwich City pan-disability football teams.”
In the last 8 years, the group have raised an impressive £16,301 for our disability programmes, and everyone at the Foundation would like to say a huge thank you for their continued support.
