In April, we were proud to be awarded the Community Club of the Season by the EFL – an achievement made possible by the incredible support of our amazing community. Now, it’s time to celebrate this success together!

We’re excited to partner once again with our generous friends at Lotus Cars for a fantastic Family Fun Day. Join us at their iconic Hethel headquarters, where we’ll bring together the Foundation community for a joyful day filled with family-friendly activities, great food and plenty of entertainment.

  • Entry Fee
    • General Entry – £5 per person
    • The Lap Lotus Challenge – £0
      • If you are planning to participate in the Lap Lotus Challenge entrance is FREE.
      • Free entrance is extended to any accompanying carers.
      • Minimum Fundraising Target – £40 (excluding Gift Aid)

Fundraising Incentives

Participating in the Lap Lotus Challenge and fundraising for the Foundation entitles you to our amazing fundraising incentives to inspire your fundraising efforts:

  • Raise £200 – Photo signed by a Norwich City FC player
  • Raise £350 – 2 x ground tour tickets
  • Raise £450 – Norwich City FC pennant signed by the first team
  • Raise £600 – 2 x Norwich City FC match day tickets (game choice subject to availability)
  • Raise £700 – Norwich City FC football signed by the first team
  • Raise £800 – Norwich City FC shirt signed by the first team
  • Raise £1,500 – Signed & framed Norwich City FC shirt
  • Raise £2,500 – 2 x Norwich City FC match day hospitality tickets (game choice subject to availability)

This Family Fun Day is an inclusive event featuring a variety of games and entertainment designed to engage participants of all ages and abilities. Highlights of the event include:

  • The Lap Lotus Challenge
    • Bringing participants across the Foundation, the main event on the track is a quest to conquer the South Circuit of Lotus’ iconic track.
    • Open to all who have signed up to take part, challenge yourself to lap the track as many times as possible.
    • Walk, run or push; we can’t wait to see everyone take part and help the Foundation to continue to change lives in Norfolk.
  • Inclusive games and entertainment
    • There will be a range of fun games and entertainment on offer throughout the day to keep all the whole family entertained.
  • Talent showcase
    • Individuals from the Foundation’s Allstars Disability Dance Troupe will be showcasing their talents for everyone to enjoy.
  • Sensory-friendly activities
    • There will be a designated sensory-friendly area offering activities tailored to accommodate the diverse sensory needs of participants.

In addition to the scheduled activities, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy food and refreshments provided by local vendors, ensuring participants and their families are fuelled for the days’ activities.

As a fully accessible event the Family Fun Day will have:

  • on-site parking
  • accessible toilets
  • quiet space

All support and assistance animals are welcome.

Everyone attending the Family Fun Day will have access to games and entertainment on offer.

Food vendors will be an additional price.

All participants of the Lap Lotus Challenge will receive a medal in recognition of their fundraising and amazing achievements on the track.

The Community Sports Foundation uses the power of sport to support and inspire our community. Our charitable objectives are to:

  • drive inclusion for people with disabilities
  • boosting mental health and wellbeing
  • and supporting disadvantaged people to raise their aspirations

Attending the Family Fun Day, and more importantly taking on the Lap Lotus Challenge, will support our efforts to drive inclusion for people with disabilities across Norfolk. Our life-changing provisions include:

Do I need to have a disability to take part?

No, this is a fully inclusive event and all are welcome.

What’s included with entry?

All participants of the Family Fun Day will have access to all games and entertainment on offer at the event. Food vendors will be an additional price. All participants of the Lap Lotus Challenge only will receive a medal in recognition of their fundraising efforts and for their achievements on the track.

Do all participants need to raise money for the Community Sports Foundation?

Only those who have signed up to take part in the Lap Lotus Challenge are required to fundraise for the Community Sports Foundation. The minimum fundraising target is £40.

Is parking provided?

Yes, parking is available onsite, you will be sign posted to this on arrival.

I’d like to take part in the Lap Lotus Challenge. Are mobility aids allowed on the track?

Yes, all mobility aids are allowed on the track.

Can I bring my support / assistance animal with me?

Yes, all support / assistance animals are welcome at the Family Fun Day.

What age do I have to be to enter?

Our Family Fun Day is fully inclusive. From 1 to 101, all are welcome to take part. We simply ask that all children are accompanied by a responsible adult.

What if I need support to take part in the Lap Lotus Challenge?

You can sign up to participate in Lap Lotus as part of a team via the booking link.

Are there cut off times for the Lap Lotus Challenge?

None! Start when you’re ready and we look forward to celebrating your achievements.

What accessible features are there on site during the day?

Our Family Fun Day will have onsite parking, accessible toilets, medical support, and quiet spaces.

What if a participant doesn’t feel comfortable in a crowd?

Whilst we hope our Family Fun Day will be well attended we are aware some participants may become anxious in crowds. We will therefore ensure there is a dedicated quiet area for those needing some time away.

Can I fundraise for another charity?

Participating in the Lap Lotus Challenge is specifically to support the fundraising for the Community Sports Foundation.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes.  There will also be food vendors onsite where you will be able to purchase food and drink.
