Join us for Cycle Swarm, a scenic bike ride starting and finishing at the home of Norwich City, Carrow Road Stadium. All riders are welcome, so whether you’re new to cycling or an experienced cyclist, there is a route to suit!

There is no entry fee for those cycling for the Foundation, however, we do ask all riders to raise a minimum of £100. Alternatively, if you’d like to simply Pay to Ride, the entry fee is £20 and £15 for under-16s.

There are two options when signing up to Cycle Swarm. Option 1 Pay to Ride is for those who simply want to take part. Option 2 Ride for the Foundation is for those who wish to support us further by fundraising for the Foundation.

Please note: if you choose to sign up on the day the entry fee will increase by £10.
Whilst there is no entry fee for those who choose to Ride for the Foundation, we do ask all riders to raise a minimum of £100. We will need to see evidence of this on the event day to take part in the event.

Pre-Event Support
Once you’ve signed up for Cycle Swarm you won’t be on your own! The team at the Foundation will be in touch regularly to help you every step of the way. From providing tips and resources to boost your fundraising efforts to sharing tailored training guidance, we’re here to ensure you feel fully prepared and supported.
Event Support
On the big day itself, you will be supported by an army of amazing volunteers and staff! We have numerous mechanics and rest areas, with refreshments, along all routes to ensure you can access any assistance and sustenance when required.
The routes will also be well sign posted so you don’t have to worry about getting lost.

Parking at the stadium will cost £5 and every penny will go to the Community Sports Foundation.
You can purchase parking when you sign up, but hurry – spaces are limited!
Sign up todayThe kit list is anything and everything you normally have on a cycle!
A bike and helmet are an absolute must (we hope this is self-explanatory).
You may bring any other accessories at your discretion, such as a gel seat, padded cycling shorts, hydration or energy gels – whatever makes you comfortable!
While it’s not essential, we recommend you bring a puncture repair kit, inner-tube, and a multi tool to get yourself out of trouble.
Sign up todayWe would advise that you build up your training with regular medium-distance cycles, progressing to longer distances. While it’s great to get into the gym and use a turbo bike, we recommend getting outdoors at every opportunity!
Cycling sections of the route in the build-up to the challenge is also very useful; you’ll experience different surfaces and inclines that you will encounter en route.

Yes – the minimum age for this event is 12 years old. Any under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Yes, there are feed stations on route.
No, this event takes place on public open roads. Please make sure you are familiar with the High Way Code!
We have a mobile mechanic around the route who will be able to assist you. We recommend you bring a puncture repair kit, inner-tube, and a multi tool to get yourself out of trouble.
No, this event is not a race.
Yes, please follow the cycle swarm arrows on route and will also send out GPX files for your devices. These are subject to change due to safety reasons.
