Cerebral Palsy Football

Norwich City’s Cerebral Palsy football team compete in the CP National League – the highest national level of Cerebral Palsy Football – and are current holders of the EE Disability FA Cup.

The squad have reached the Disability FA Cup Final in back‑to‑back seasons, falling narrowly short in 2023 before lifting the trophy in 2024. That same year, they enjoyed an unbeaten league campaign, recording 12 wins and 2 draws across 14 matches.

In 2026, the team won twice at St George’s Park inside a month. They lifted the National CP Cup for the first time in their history, securing qualification for the Disability FA Cup, where they regained the trophy with a hard‑fought 2–1 victory over Chelsea.

Through a clear pathway, many players on the side progressed directly from the Foundation’s pan-disability football sessions on a Tuesday evening at The Nest. Find out more about Realising Potenetial, the Foundation’s inclusive disability and SEND programme, by clicking here.

Leading multi-disciplinary architectural practice Chaplin Farrant proudly supports the CP squad both on and off the pitch, helping to provide vital resources, specialist training, and meaningful opportunities within the community.
