The festival for U8-U12s will be used as a recruitment tool for our Girls' Football Development Programme

The Community Sports Foundation is holding a free Girls’ Football Festival on Wednesday 28th July at The Nest, for U8-U12 female footballers not currently part of our footballing pathway.

During the festival, staff will be looking to identify players to join the Foundation’s Girls’ Football Development Programme.

With age groups from U8 through to U16, our three-tiered, high-quality Girls’ Football Programme is tailored to give young talented female footballers the best opportunity to progress technically as a footballer and to help them develop socially and psychologically.

Age groups by date of birth:
Please note: age banding for 2021/2022 season

• U8s – Player born between 01/09/2013 – 31/08/2015
• U10s – Player born between 01/09/2011 – 31/08/2013
• U12s – Player born between 01/09/2009 – 31/08/2011
