Story added: 7th December 2020
The Foundation’s Football & Education programme will be hosting an open day on Monday 21st December for prospective students.
Aimed at current Year 11 students, the day is your chance to find out more about the Foundation’s Football & Education offering (Male, Female & Football Learning) for the 2021/22 academic year.
On the evening before (Sunday 20th December, 7.30pm) an online presentation led by Head of Curriculum Stevie Bramble, Education Development Manager Paul Holmes, and Football Development Managers Adam Drury and Megan Todd will introduce you to everything you need to know about the two-year courses.
The following day will take place outdoors on The Nest’s 3G pitch as a practical football coaching session led by our coaching team, which includes former Canaries Simon Lappin, Adam Drury, and Ryan Jarvis. This taster will give students an insight into the football aspect of the programme, and will be run in accordance with our Covid-19 delivery statement.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Book your place on the open day here
Our football and education programmes are designed to maximise student’s career development and opportunities.
To date, numerous students have moved onto higher education and employment, with opportunities including overseas scholarships, semi-pro & pro football, internships at Norwich City Football Club, and of course, employment with the Community Sports Foundation.
