Premier League Primary Stars U11s Girls Cup Recap

On Friday 26th January, the Nest welcomed 28 local schools to its pitches for the Primary Stars U11s Girls Cup.

The schools teams, which were made up of Year 5 and Year 6 girls, played in a competitive tournament format, with the winners and runners-up of each initial group progressing to the knockout stages.

After an afternoon of fantastic football, which included some stunning goals and superb saves, the final was set, with Woodlands Primary Academy taking on Queens Hill Primary School.

A tightly contested match, it was Woodlands Primary School who emerged victorious, claiming the silverware for the third successive year.

All staff present on the day would like to offer their congratulations to everyone who participated, there was some excellent football on display.
