Norwich City Community Sports Foundation hosted the 2025 Disability Canary Cup at The Nest on Sunday 26th October. The event brought together eight pan-disability teams, with over 75 players taking part in a day full of football, fun and community spirit.
Lincoln Invictus were crowned Premier League winners after a series of strong performances, while Norwich City B claimed the Championship title with an impressive run of matches. All eight teams showed great determination and teamwork throughout the tournament.
Alongside the main competition, there was also a friendly match between Norwich City and Ipswich Town’s under-16 pan-disability teams. The fixture added to the day’s inclusive atmosphere and brought younger players together at The Nest.

The day was a celebration of inclusive sport, with families, players, coaches, and volunteers all contributing to a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
James Fish, Disability Sports Manager, said: “Thank you to all players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made the event such a memorable celebration of inclusive football. It was a fantastic day and we enjoyed seeing so many players having fun.”
