Norwich City FC and Aston Villa fans welcomed participants from the Community Sports Foundation’s (CSF) disability programmes at Carrow Road on Saturday, giving them a rousing reception on the pitch during the half time break.
A number of participants from CSF’s U16 Pan Disability team were introduced to the crowd before doing a lap of honour around the pitch.

The half time procession was one of a number of match day activities carried out by the Foundation on the day.
Saturday’s activities also included a fixture at Carrow Park between the Norwich City disability squad and their counterparts from the Aston Villa Foundation.
Across the stadium, over 30 volunteers including CSF staff and participants from the charity’s disability programmes showed their support for the Foundation by taking part in a ground collection, which saw just under £1000 raised.

CSF Community Fundraising Manager Joe Harvey said:
“A massive thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered, and to the Aston Villa Foundation for spending this very special day with us.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to every Norwich City and Villa fan who made our disability participants so welcome as they paraded around the pitch. Moments like this are fantastic to be a part of!”
