Young footballers enjoyed an unforgettable summer holiday experience this week as Norwich City players Harry Darling and Sam Field made a surprise visit to the Foundation’s Football Holiday Camps and Kellogg’s Football Camps, inspiring children during their sessions at Carrow Park.
The pair arrived to cheers before taking part in an exciting Q&A, where participants quizzed them on their football journeys, training routines, career highlights, and advice for aspiring footballers. Both players discussed the importance of training hard, listening to coaches, maintaining a healthy diet, and staying focused on their goals.
Darling and Field then headed pitchside, offering encouragement as children took part in matches and penalty shootouts, before signing autographs and posing for photos to round off the visit.
The Foundation’s Football Holiday Camps run throughout school holidays, providing children aged 5–13 with high‑quality coaching, fun games, and a supportive environment to develop their skills.
The Foundation also delivers Kellogg’s Football Camps, part of a nationwide initiative delivered in partnership with the EFL and Kellogg’s, giving even more young players the chance to enjoy summer football activity.
Norwich City Community Sports Foundation’s Football Holiday Camps give thousands of children aged 5–13 a fun, active and confidence‑boosting experience during school breaks. Camps run across Norfolk and Suffolk, and are designed for every ability level, from first‑time players to football‑mad youngsters.
