The Community Sports Foundation is delighted to confirm a partnership with online booking system company Participant.
Across the three-year term, Participant will support the Foundation’s Disability Match Day Experiences, while the charity will continue to benefit from use of Participant’s innovative online booking systems.
The Foundation have used Participant as our main booking system since 2016.

Gavin Coe, Head of Operations & Business Development at the charity, said:
“Anyone who has booked an activity, event or session with us in the past six years will have used Participant to do so, and will no doubt have been impressed by the ease and speed of the system.
“From our Customer Engagement team’s perspective, with on average forty bookings taken every day, Participant has been an invaluable tool in helping us to reduce the workload and admin associated with processing bookings.”
He continued: “Participant’s level of service has been fantastic. When we’ve wanted bespoke additions to the system, including our new online kit shop, they’ve been very supportive and quick in producing this for us.”
As part of the partnership, Participant will be the new programme sponsor for the Foundation’s Disability Match Day Experiences.
Match Day Experiences give children with disabilities the chance to enjoy a pre-match activity session, followed by tickets to watch Norwich City in an inclusive area of Carrow Road. As well as affording parents and carers valuable respite time, the programme allows the participants to make new friends and build new relationships.
Roger Birchenough, Managing Director of Participant UK, said:
“Participant is thrilled to confirm our partnership with Norwich City Community Sports Foundation and to be able to support their Disability Match Day Experience. We’re excited to continue to provide our online booking platform for their wide range of activities and events; thereby helping alleviate their administrative burden and making the booking process nice and simple for their customers.
“I recently visited the charity and their wonderful community facility, The Nest, where I saw first-hand the brilliant work that the Foundation do in their local community.
“Strengthening our existing relationship with the Foundation means that we can help ensure that they continue to deliver exceptional activities whilst also providing an easy registration experience for their customers.”
With offices in England, Norway and India, Participant have delivered solutions for registration and payment to organisations across the world, since 2002.
Clients based in the UK include the Football Association, the West Bromwich Albion Foundation, Leicester City in the Community, Universities UK, and the NHS Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
