Norwich City duo Sam Field and Kellen Fisher made a special visit to the Foundation’s Realising Potential Ambassadors session at Carrow Park, spending time with young adults from our inclusive disability and SEND programme.
The players were welcomed by a group of twenty participants, who took the chance to quiz them on everything from their football journeys to their interests away from the pitch. Field and Fisher spoke about their pathways into the professional game, shared advice on confidence and resilience, and encouraged the group to keep enjoying their football.
After the Q&A, the pair headed pitchside to watch the session unfold. They offered tips, celebrated goals and cheered participants on throughout a series of football activities. Their support created a lively atmosphere and a lasting memory for everyone involved.
Disability Sports Manager, James Fish, said the visit meant a great deal to everyone involved: “Moments like this stay with our participants for a long time. Having first-team players take the time to talk with them, watch their football, and show genuine interest gives them a huge sense of pride. It adds real weight to the achievements they’re so proud of.”
