On Tuesday, February 23, Duncan’s Club members were invited to Carrow Road to receive a full tour of the stadium.
The tour, which lasted around two hours, gave participants the opportunity to reminisce as they recalled historic moments and anecdotes from their past visits to watch the Canaries.
Starting in the Media Suite, participants were handed a match-day team sheet and talked through pre and post-match media routines.
The tour then continued through the City Stand which houses the trophy cabinet and significant historical memorabilia, before heading down to the dressing rooms and concluding with an emergence from the tunnel and into the dugouts.
One of our Duncan’s club attendees, Keith, had his message of thanks passed onto us via his wife, who told us;
“He thoroughly enjoyed the day and hasn’t stopped talking about it yet. This is very unusual for him as he’s usually glued to the TV in silence.”
“I’ve heard about the grass, the name of the South Stand, the changing rooms and the seat he’s going to sit in for his birthday treat.”
“I think it goes without saying how much I appreciate Ronnie [Duncan’s Club volunteer] and everybody at Duncan’s Club for what they do for Keith.”
