Howay the lads and lasses! Our Boys Football Development Programme EPDC U9-12s and Girls Football Development Programme ADP U10-12s are on tour from Monday 15th April to Thursday 18th April.
Keep up-to-date with all the latest on their tour of the North-East with our very own dedicated feed below…
6:04pm – Message from Coach Chris Ninham – “it’s now looking like it will be nearer 7:30pm.”
4.48pm – A delay means there is a now a new ETA of 6:30pm-7:00pm 🚌
1.48pm – The tourists are on the way back! 🚌
We’ll let you know if the estimated arrival time of 5.30pm at Carrow Road changes.
12.58pm – See some great feedback below from Gemma Dickinson, one of the parents of the Newcastle United Foundation players.
I’d like to give credit to your kids – been at the tournament over the last couple of days (boys U9’s) and what lovely, respectful and hard working boys they were. Played brilliant football too! Was a pleasure!

11.09am – The Stadium of Light’s looking great in the sunshine, as the group check out all-areas of the stadium…
…here are the obligatory dugout shots (away dugout, we hope)
…and there’s some time to perfect those post-game interviews.
9.09am – Pack-up, breakfast and check-out done, it’s on to Sunderland’s Stadium of Light for a ground tour.
8.34pm – Tonight the tour can choose from either a quiz, a visit to a driving range or, of course, watching the Tottenham vs Manchester City Champions League game.
Plenty have opted for the latter, which at this stage, looks like very good decision!
6.34pm – Here are the headline results from the tournament:
But most importantly, lots of game time for all, with some great togetherness shown both on and off the pitch.
6.13pm – …and here’s an assortment of photos from the boys’ trophy presentations earlier.
Now back to the hotel for evening fun and games and a well-deserved dinner!
4.32pm – Nothing beats that post-tournament feeling…well done, girls!
4.15pm – Yeeeeeeeellows! It was a clean sweep for our U12 girls too, with one team going the whole two days unbeaten!
2.54pm – Well done to our girls’ sides, who both made it through to the final!
Here’s the trophy presentation…
1.16pm – Day two of the tournament, and the groups are enjoying more match action.
8.16am – Buffet breakfast time again. Clearly, the group could get used to this.
3.36pm – Here are a few team shots from today’s tournament…
…and we can only assume the boys were eyeing up some future sponsorship deals with this one.
10.35am – It’s tourny-time!
A whole day of fixtures ahead – what can possibly beat that? (Probably the knowledge that there’s actually two whole days of fixtures ahead.)
9.28am – Here’s a couple more snaps from yesterday’s enjoyable game (a 5-0 win for Manchester United U23s, by the way)
The boys and girls were up early this morning for the first day of fixtures – they’re currently en-route to the venue.
7.15pm – Let’s just rename this the Community Sports Foundation block.
The boys and girls are all set for kick-off.
5.05pm – Journey and check in complete, it’s straight to the canteen for dinner.
After dinner, the group will be heading straight to St James’ Park to catch the Newcastle United and Manchester United U23s in action.
09.44am – And they’re off – the EPDC/ADP Easter Tour of the North-East is underway!
Next stop: Newcastle! (Well, technically the services, but that doesn’t sound as good).
