Action‑packed afternoon at The Nest for Jack Stacey & Anis Ben Slimane

Norwich City players Jack Stacey and Anis Ben Slimane spent an action‑packed afternoon at The Nest on Tuesday 11 August, meeting young people across several Foundation programmes and bringing plenty of excitement along the way.

They began by surprising children at Football Holiday Camps, dropping into a session for a lively Q&A before taking charge of teams during small‑sided games. They also took countless photos and signed autographs. The Camps run across Norfolk during the school holidays for ages 5–13, with bookings available here.

The players then headed over to meet participants from Realising Potential, the Foundation’s inclusive disability and SEND programme. They jumped into a Padel taster session ahead of its official public opening, joining rallies and getting stuck in with plenty of encouragement. Realising Potential Padel is supported by the Premier League and PFA Players’ Fund.

Their final stop was pitchside at the Boys Canary Cup. Stacey and Slimane watched the Foundation’s U11 ADC secure a 3–1 win over Ipswich Town in the day‑one final, before seeing the U12s reach their own final and fall just short against the Russell Martin Academy. At full time, the players stepped forward to hand out trophies, rounding off a memorable day across The Nest.
