Saturday 24th March
Ellough Park Raceway
How do you fancy a day of endurance go-karting with TV Presenter and CSF Trustee Jake Humphrey?
Famed for his Formula 1 coverage on the BBC, Jake is one of the most popular and well known sports presenters in the UK and has spent time with the some of the greatest drivers on the planet – and he now wants to race against you!
Teams, consisting of 2-5 drivers, will have two hours to complete the most laps before the clock stops and the chequered flag is shown.
Winners can celebrate in true Formula 1 style – the top three teams will receive trophies (and champagne) post-race in our podium ceremony.
The inaugural event will take place on Saturday 24th March at Ellough Park Raceway. Entry fee is £250 per team plus a £1 booking fee.
Participants will have a practice session before the race begins to get used to their kart and the track conditions. All drivers will receive a safety briefing, safety clothing and equipment to race.
There will be a silent auction at the starting grid where the highest bidder will be awarded pole position. Further details of this will be made available in the lead up to the event.
The event will raise funds for The Nest, the Foundation’s exciting project to build a groundbreaking community sports facility to benefit people from all walks of life in Norwich and Norfolk.
