The Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is calling Norwich City fans to rally behind a new club-wide appeal, Boots for Change. This appeal gives unused football boots a powerful new purpose.
Spearheaded by first-team players Emi Marcondes, Mathias Kvistgaarden and Ellie Bishop, the appeal invites fans, families, Academy players, staff and supporter groups across the club to donate good-quality football boots at various collection points from now until the end of the season.
Because for many young people across Norfolk, especially during a time when the cost of living makes kit harder to afford, a pair of boots is more than equipment – it’s a chance to join in, feel included and play the game they love.
Donated boots will be given a new lease of life through the Foundation’s recycling initiative at The Store, helping to make football more accessible for everyone. Proceeds from recycled boots will go directly towards supporting the Foundation’s vital programmes with vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged people across Norfolk.
In addition to recycling, a portion of the donated boots will be distributed to participants in the Foundation’s disability and inclusion programmes, helping access essential kit that might be out of reach and supporting their continued development.
Fans are encouraged to drop off any size and brand of good-quality football boots. We simply ask they are clean and ready to go!
Use the dropdown/tabs below to discover the various donation points across the city and how you can show your support.
"We all remember the feeling of pulling on our first pair of boots. If you’ve got an unused, maybe outgrown pair at home, donating them could give someone else that same opportunity. I’m donating mine and I’d love for Norwich City fans to join me."
