Nominations are now open for the inaugural Foundation Awards 2026

The Community Sports Foundation is delighted to announce that on Friday 6th February 2026, we will host the very first Foundation Awards – a special evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible people who make the our work possible. 

The event will bring together the Foundation’s most passionate volunteers and fundraisers, recognising those who have gone above and beyond in their contribution to the charity and our community. 

Recognising excellence through our core values 

The Foundation Awards will feature six award categories, each inspired by one of our core values: 

• Resilience – this award celebrates the qualities and behaviours that reflect the ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of adversity 

• Growth – celebrates personal and professional development and those who have demonstrated continuous learning, self-awareness, and ambition 

• Commitment – honouring consistent dedication to the Foundation and community, going above and beyond 

• Pride – this award recognises individuals who have taken a genuine ownership and care in their work, embody the values and culture of the organisation and show a sense of purpose in everything they do 

• Belonging – celebrating individuals who help create an inclusive, welcoming, and connected environment, and who make others feel seen, values, and part of something bigger 

• Integrity – honouring those who consistently do the right thing – even when it’s hard, unseen, or unpopular, celebrating honesty, trustworthiness, and respect. 

How to nominate

Nominations are now open, and we’re inviting you to put forward the people who truly embody the spirit of the Foundation.  

You can nominate anyone – child or adult – who has volunteered or fundraised for us, the Community Sports Foundation. Whether it’s a fundraiser who goes the extra mile or a volunteer who inspires others. Anyone who helps the Foundation to make a lasting difference. We want to hear their story. 

To nominate someone simply click the link below. The online form will ask you to:  

1. Select the award category you feel best fits your nominee 
2. Explain why you believe they deserve the recognition 
3. Describe how they have demonstrated the Foundation’s values through their actions and the difference they’ve made 
4. Provide any supporting evidence that highlights their impact or achievements 

Each nomination will help us shine a light on the people who make our work possible – those who live and breathe the values that define the Community Sports Foundation.
