What a summer it’s been. From packed Soccer Schools to surprise visits from some of our favourite players, we’ve had a blast delivering sessions across Norfolk.
Summer highlights:
We welcomed hundreds of young footballers to our Norwich City school holiday football camps this summer! Whether they were trying out for the first time or perfecting their skills, there was a whole lot of fun and football going on.
Our brilliant coaching team delivered a massive 1,293 hours of football across our summer sessions and they made sure to bring the fun every single day with games, challenges, and lots of encouragement. We saw brilliant teamwork, big smiles, and lots of goals!

Beyond the fun, our football camps offer real benefits for young players. From improving fitness and coordination to building confidence and resilience, players develop key skills like communication, teamwork, and decision-making.
We make sure everyone feels part of the team — whether they’re regular players or just starting out. Our coaches give plenty of encouragement to help kids leave feeling more confident, full of energy, and looking forward to their next football adventure.

One of the biggest hits this summer? Player appearances! Young fans got to meet some of their heroes, grab selfies, and ask questions—creating memories that’ll last a lifetime.
We had some brilliant visitors over the summer: Jacob Wright and Ruairi McConville dropped into one of our Soccer Schools at The Nest, while Jeffrey Schlupp and Daniel Grimshaw showed off their skills at our Train Like a Pro camp for 10–14 year olds. Grace Riglar and Freya Symonds from Norwich City Women also stopped by our Girls Only Soccer School. And of course, one of the standout moments—Lioness and two-time European Champion Lauren Hemp returned to The Nest. A truly special day!
