On Thursday 31st October, fourteen budding young coaches from our Junior Coaches Academy took a trip to the capital for a stadium tour of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The trip, funded by the Norfolk Community Foundation, allowed our participants to gain a up-close insight into one of England’s largest and most impressive football stadiums. Our fourteen young coaches began their tour in the first team dressing rooms, finding out more about the player’s match day routine, before making the famous walk out the tunnel and into the dugouts.
The purpose of the excursion was to reward the members of our Junior Coaches Academy for their efforts in recent weeks, whilst also giving them a further insight into the world of professional football.
The Norfolk Community Foundation’s ‘Big Ordeal’ Fund was created to give young people under the age of 25 the opportunity to pursue their sporting and outdoor ambitions, whilst also gaining experiences that may not normally be accessible for them.
Aged 12 – 16 and looking to take your first steps into coaching? Sign up to our upcoming Junior Coaches Camp here.
