Bring on the World Cup!

It was all smiles at The Nest on Friday evening as 100 girls tackled football drills and skills in a free football festival.

The session tasked participants with tackling a spread of skill stations based on different countries’ styles of play.

As the drills were getting wrapped up and mini matchplay scenarios and games were beginning, the girls were greeted by a friendly face from Norwich City Women. Midfielder, Katie Knights dropped in to share some tips and answer the burning questions from the next generation.

There was, of course, time for group photos, selfies, first-bumps and autographs all round from Katie and some of her coaching colleagues from Norwich City Women.

A full gallery of images can be seen below!

If you missed out on this particular Girls Football Festival, fear not! We will be running an identical Football Festival in King’s Lynn in August and you can book now!
