Foundation fundraisers ready for epic marathon challenge

This April, a group of epic Foundation fundraisers will head to London to take on either the iconic London Marathon itself or the scenic Landmarks Half-Marathon. Our group of runners will battle sore legs and tired minds, all whilst raising life-changing amounts for the Community Sports Foundation.

Last week, our team met at The Nest to see first-hand where their fundraising would go, meeting participants from our Realising Potential provision and watching one of the sessions in action.

At the Foundation, we are always blown away by the outstanding support from our fundraisers, and the fact that this April we will see 29 motivated and driven runners complete their respective races under the Foundation’s name deserves all the recognition possible.

Upon signing up, all our runners agreed to raise £450 for the Foundation, which will go directly towards improving and expanding our community provision.

Our London Marathon 2026 runners:

Chris Reynolds, Michael Green, Lindsay Stansbury, Willoughby Ellson, James Fish, Josh Tibbles, Luis Tibbles, Ashley Black,
Joshua Booth, Isabelle Adler, Sydney Weinberg

Our London Landmarks Half-Marathon 2026 runners:

Chris Reynolds, Nicol Nicholls, Grace Bawden, Lucy Bendall,
Elliot Spencer, Luke Travis, Sean Dick, Lily-su Faircloth, Sabira Egan,
Malcolm Bell, Joshua Morley, Sophie Davies, Marcus Davies, Ethan Hall,

Nicholas Watts, Olga Galluccio, Lucas Azevedo Rowan

Due to an unfortunate injury from one of our London Marathon runners, we now have a charity space available for anyone interested. To find out more, please contact [email protected]

Friends or family of our fantastic fundraisers? Make sure to get behind them and give them the support they need to get over that finish line!

Make a difference in 2026

Make a difference in 2026

The Community Sports Foundation works with disadvantaged people and those with disabilities to experience the benefits of sport; keeping them active and happy while improving their health and skills for the future.

We rely heavily on the time and generosity of local people and businesses to do this, and our range of fundraising events is a vital component of this.

We offer a huge variety of fundraising activities from conquering the UK’s tallest mountains with our Three Peak Challenge, to navigating north Norfolk’s stunning coastline with Race Against the Sun, to pounding the streets of Norwich with Run Norwich.

Your involvement and support will go towards bettering our local community – help make a difference in 2026.
