Dean Ashton and Mick Dennis join team of community champions

The second annual Sporting Light Appeal Coastal Walk Challenge took place on Friday and Saturday as 39 walkers completed the 47 miles from Hunstanton to Cromer in 24 hours.

Braving heavy rain and strong winds, the team pushed themselves to the limits for the Sporting Light Appeal.

CSF ambassadors Dean Ashton and Mick Dennis joined the team for stretches of the walk along with junior ambassador, Jamie Abbott.

Fundraising Officer Emma Fletcher who oversees the Sporting Light Appeal said:

“I am so proud of everybody who took part; there was an incredible sense of team spirit. The challenge is tougher than people think and what these guys put themselves through for the appeal was immense.”
