Declan Sowter

Declan completed his undergraduate degree at Anglia Ruskin University, before going on to achieve a Master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh. He joined the Foundation in September 2021 as an Impact Officer, progressing to Funding & Impact Officer in 2023, and stepping into his current role as Funding & Impact Manager in 2024.

Role at the Foundation
Declan is responsible for developing compelling funding applications and producing detailed reports that showcase the impact of the Foundation’s work across the community.

Hidden talents?
A keen chess player, with an impressive ability to eat pretty much anything without putting on weight.
