Guests of the Foundation came together on Friday evening at the residence of General the Lord and Lady Dannatt, in support of the #BuildTheNest campaign.
In the beautiful gardens of the Dannatt’s home in Keswick, over 100 guests enjoyed a sun-soaked drinks reception joined by CSF Trustee Jake Humphrey.
The evening gave backers and supporters of the Foundation’s new community hub the chance to enjoy a number of fundraising activities, with the highlight being a charity rubber-duck race.
An incredible £8,000 was raised over the course of the evening. Lots in a popular auction included an eye-catching sculpture of the World Cup trophy, created by local artist Lee King.
The Foundation wishes to thank Lord and Lady Dannatt for kindly hosting the evening, those who supported with auction prizes, The Bucket List of Overstrand for providing nibbles, and to the guests.
