Community Sports Foundation Matchday Takeover

Norwich City FC vs Birmingham City FC, Saturday 21 February

On Saturday 21st February, the Community Sports Foundation will proudly be taking over the matchday at Carrow Road as Norwich City face Birmingham City.

This special day is all about shining a spotlight on the life-changing work the Foundation delivers across Norfolk and inspiring fans to play their part in creating a stronger, more connected community by donating to the cause.

One team. One community.

We are Norwich City’s charity, using the power of sport to help people overcome challenges, build confidence and realise their potential. From supporting young people facing disadvantage to creating inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities and those who may be struggling, our programmes make a real difference across Norfolk. This vital work is only possible thanks to generous donations — your support helps us continue delivering the services our community relies on.

How can I get involved?

Throughout the day, you’ll see Foundation staff, volunteers, and programme participants across the stadium sharing their stories and celebrating the difference that the Norwich City community can make when we act together.

One tap can spark real change

The Foundation would like to encourage all fans in attendance to make a donation during the takeover. Whether it’s £1, some spare coins, or a simple contactless tap, your matchday donation can create real, lasting impact for those who need it most.

Every contribution will help us to continue to support local people when they need it most – from mental health support and disability sports sessions to programmes that help create opportunities for disadvantaged individuals.
