The Foundation’s Down’s Syndrome (DS) squad were treated to an early Christmas surprise at Carrow Park last month.
The team were taking part in a training session when Father Christmas and his elves arrived with some very exciting news.
The squad boarded a vintage bus and enjoyed a tour around the city centre with Father Christmas before they arrived at Notcutts Garden Centre for the annual opening of the centre’s ‘Santa’s Grotto’.
To further add to the magic, each participant had their picture taken with Father Christmas and took home a Christmas gift.
CSF Disability Development Manager Darren Hunter reflected:
“It was an absolutely magical morning. We are very grateful to Notcutts for providing this opportunity and spreading a little festive cheer to our disability participants.”
