Summer 2024 has been a busy one at The Nest so far – with the Foundation’s ever-popular Summer Cup being a leading reason for this.
The unusually grey and cold British summertime did nothing to deter over 500 budding footballers from taking to the pitches throughout July and the start of August, with fine football and superb sportsmanship on display throughout.
There was a whole host of different abilities and age groups on display throughout, with some of the younger children in the U7 and U8 age categories playing tournament football for the very first time. The older participants also set a fine example, ensuring entertainment and enjoyment was paramount for all involved.
