A free taster event will take place later this month for girls who are interested in joining our football pathway for the 2022-23 season.
The evening, which will be held at The Nest on Thursday 25th August, is aimed at players of all abilities and levels of experiences in the U13 to U16 age range.
Participants will take part in an 11-a-side match, with those that impress being offered the chance to join the pathway.
Places on the evening are free, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
A taster sessions for younger age groups (U8-U12) will take place later this year, please email [email protected] to register your child’s details.
Please note: age groups are for 2022/23 season – please carefully check the date of birth range specified on the booking links before signing up.
The Foundation recently redeveloped our new girls’ and women’s football strategy, comprising of three strands – play our game, learn our game and change our game.
The Girls’ Football & Education Pathway is designed to help young females reach their full potential through football. The Foundation delivers a three-tiered pathway for ages U8 to U16, through the Development Centre (DC), Advanced Development Centre (ADC) and the Academy Development Programme (ADP).
Alongside our own programmes, we are also delivering an Emerging Talent Centre on behalf of the FA for the 2022/23 season.
All our football development programmes are designed to complement existing grassroots football commitments.
